Welcome to the official website for the City of Arcola, Texas! We are excited about using this site to communicate with our residents, businesses and visitors.

Arcola is located in Eastern Fort Bend County, about 30 minutes south of downtown Houston.

Notice

The City Council of the City of Arcola will hold a public hearing on a proposed city budget for Fiscal Year 2009 in a meeting beginning at 7:00 PM on September 16, 2008 at 13222 Highway 6, Arcola, Texas. Any person may attend and may participate in the hearing. A copy of the proposed budget is on file with the City Secretary at the address shown. This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year's budget by $121,219 (25.2%), and of that amount $31,867 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.
